We're absolutely thrilled to unveil the latest crop of cutting-edge AgeTech companies joining our Spring 2023 cohort at the AgeTech Collaborative Accelerator program. Over the next eight weeks, these trailblazing startups will receive hands-on mentorship and benefit from a dynamic and supportive community of like-minded entrepreneurs all striving towards the same goal.
These innovative companies are offering a range of transformative solutions, from an AI-powered care management system to a revolutionary social care navigation platform empowering community health workers to address social determinants of health in older adults.
With the backing of our AgeTech Collaborative™ accelerator team from AARP, each startup will receive unparalleled insights into the $8.3 trillion longevity economy and a suite of customized resources. These include consumer insight tools, expert advice, growth marketing services, UI/UX design guidance, exclusive cohort-only events, and much more. Our ultimate aim is to help these startups meet their unique goals and needs and support them in unlocking their full potential.
Introducing our Spring 2023 Cohort:
Neurotrack enables Alzheimer’s disease screening at scale by offering a 3-Minute Cognitive Screening and other convenient, digital solutions that empower primary care teams to screen seniors quickly and regularly, intervene sooner, and promote better outcomes.
Onward is on a mission to eradicate transportation as a social determinant of health and alleviate the burden of caregiving by enabling a unique rideshare experience for older adults and those with cognitive or mobility impairments, door-through-door service with a consistent Companion Driver. The Onward team aims to improve appointment adherence, HEDIS measures, and overall cost of care by helping individuals to get the care they need, when they need it.
Opsis Health is on a mission to revolutionize the health of people and the planet. We simplify nutrition and optimize health through human-centered technology, behavioral and data science, and AI.
Pear Suite's social care navigation platform empowers community health workers to improve social determinants of health among older adults and other underserved communities. With the Pear Suite platform, health and community organizations can cost-effectively meet the social needs—healthy food access, transportation, housing, digital literacy, and social connections, to name a few—of members in a person-centered, and culturally and linguistically sensitive way. Since launching in 2021, Pear Suite has supported over 24 organizations and impacted over 25,000 lives.
Rubitection Inc.'s AI enabled assessment and care management system provides a decision support platform for the early detection, assessment, and care management of chronic wounds and dermatological conditions addressing a $36 billion market targeting conditions such as diabetic foot ulcers and pressure ulcers to enable data driven care to help save lives and reduce cost.
Salveo Innovations is a health tech company founded in Washington, DC. They build patient-centered solutions that improve health literacy and reduce barriers to important health information. Our core product, Tyrone, is a mHealth application developed with culturally sensitive, community-driven feedback to help patients navigate health care encounters by accessing critical health information when they need it most.
Tuned is an innovative platform (SAAS solution) that transforms Bluetooth-supported hearing aids into "over the counter" hearing aids, quickly allowing customers to conduct their own hearing diagnostics and hearing aids fitting. Tuned app provides a user-friendly interface that guides the customer step by step through the process of fitting their hearing aids, and then supports them through the acclimatization process.
Upwardli is a credit onramp for the 50 million in the U.S. who are 'new to credit'. We make it easy to start the credit journey and accelerate progress into the financial mainstream.
Wesper is the first medical-grade sleep testing company dedicated to making sleep disorder diagnosis and management easier for both providers and consumers. Wesper's innovative technology and user-friendly experience provide unparalleled accuracy, reliability, and convenience, ensuring that patients receive the highest quality care from the comfort of their own homes.
Xander is a Boston-based startup that uses augmented reality to enhance in-person conversations and strengthen human connections. Xander’s first product is XanderGlasses, captioning glasses for the millions of people with hearing loss seeking alternatives to hearing aids.
Zemplee Inc, based in Silicon Valley, CA, is an AI-powered assistive technology solution enabling senior care providers to improve care and safety for aging-in-place elderly clients in a home or institutional setting. An award-winning company with patented technology uses a non-invasive, non-intrusive, non-wearable motion and touch-based IoT Sensor kit with a cloud-based AI application that generates behavior patterns and alerts on adverse and deviant behaviors like falls, wanders, nutrition, medication non-adherence, vitals and more and is reimbursed by insurance. Longitudinal data has exponential value and multiple follow-on applications.
Zoog has revolutionized the way grandparents connect with the children in their lives when physically apart. Through Zoog, anyone can read stories, sing songs and more, while adding animations and AR effects that bring the experience to life-experiences that are stored forever in our app.
